As time goes on
I realized that Jaxon still wasn't sleeping normally even as a toddler. At that point we went back to the doctor and they just said to make sure he had toys in his room to play with we had to take extra safety precautions like putting a child safety knob on the door so he couldn't roam the house while everyone was sleeping. He started becoming aggressive towards others around 1 1/2 yrs old some of it was the normal hair pulling of other kids and some of it was when he didn't get his way he would hit you or throw things at you. When he was about 2 1/2 years old his speech development started slowing down so he started speech therapy. for a long time we thought he was possibly autistic it's very hard to help a child without the right diagnosis.
When my son was born
Call it mothers intuition or just some crazy lady making speculations but when my son was born i knew something wasn't right. He cried continuesely unless he was being held, I could never put him down or he would be screaming like someone was killing him. I noticed he was very alert from the very beginning he was my first child so i didn't know what to expect really but i thought he should sleep more then he did he would sleep 3-4 times a day for 1-2 hours and would only sleep on my chest. the dr's told me some babies don't need as much sleep as others so we went on about our business trying to deal with it as best as possible.
